About Me

The interesting stuff:

  • Custom-built desktop: Debian Stable and Windows 7
  • Lenovo Thinkpad x120e laptop: Debian stable and Windows 7
  • 2013 Nexus 7: AOSP unrooted
  • Google LG Nexus 5: AOSP unrooted
  • Custom-built home server: Debian stable

The less interesting stuff:

I’m a big fan of console and lightweight applications, mostly because they just look cool. I also really like tiling window managers and have a hard time going back to floating windows when I need to use Windows (mostly for games).

I am neither an engineer nor a developer. In fact, I’m a law student. I just also happen to be an enthusiast of Linux and Android. Therefore, I’m expecting this blog to have an average readership  of about 0.2.

I run around on both the Arch and xda-developers forums as bananagranola. I also have my dotfiles backed up on GitHub under the same username, in case they’re of interest to anyone at all. Come say hi!

Thanks for the persistent usb info. I’m putting Mint 16 Cinnamon on a 8 gb stick, and change Mint versions as soon as they come out, waffling between xfce and mate. This stick trick should let me play with KDE and Cinnamon as well, without losing persistence. Thanks!
